Class information

Price: $360
Clay: $25 for a 25 pound bag, due on the first day.
Classes: 3 hours per week with instruction. The session is 8 weeks.
Classes Start dates: January 4, 5, 6, and 7.
Classes End dates: February 22, 23, 24, and ,25.

• Class times meet once a week for three hours. Sessions are eight weeks.
• Open studio times available.
• Studio is limited to 8 students at a time.
• Your own personal shelf to store your tools and pots.
• Please bring your own tools if you have them.
• Use of studio tools and glazes.
• All firings are included.
• This is not a production studio.
• Must wear masks and be vaccinated.

We will focus on the basics of wheel throwing or hand building with the intent to make simple forms, such as cups, bowls, and plates. There is a 30 minute demo at the beginning of each class. Firings and studio glazes are included, as well as a myriad of tools. Sign ups for open studio times are required as we require no more than 8 members in the space at any given time per our COVID guidelines. Open studio access must be reserved by all students and monthly studio members. are listed on the calendar for weekly sign ups. Masks must be worn inside the studio at all times. Cleanliness is paramount! Students are required to clean all tools, equipment, and surfaces they used free of clay first, then clean with disinfectant spray provided.

CANCELLATION POLICY

To cancel a registration and receive a refund, you must notify the Iron Desert Arts 72 hours before the start date of your class. We will refund your payment minus a $10 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the start date of the class, except documented medical emergencies.. In the event that the class is forced to canceled, a full refund will be issued.
