Description
THIS CLASS WILL FOCUS ON CREATING THEN ADDING SCULPTURAL ELEMENTS TO FUNCTIONAL PIECES SUCH AS MUGS, VASES, MATCHA BOWLS, TRINKET DISHES, ETC. WE WILL DISCUSS SLIPPING AND SCORING EXTERNAL ELEMENTS, HOW TO DRY PIECES PROPERLY, AND BEST PRACTICES FOR ENSURING THAT YOUR OWN PIECES ARE ABLE TO MAINTAIN THEIR WEIGHT WITHOUT TIPPING OVER. CK WILL DEMO AS WELL, AND STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO EITHER COME PREPARED WITH A FUNCTIONAL PIECE TO SCULPT ONE OR HAND BUILD DURING CLASS TO APPLY EXTERNAL ELEMENTS ON.

CANCELLATION POLICY
To cancel a registration and receive a refund, you must notify the Iron Desert Arts 72 hours before the start date of your class. We will refund your payment minus a $10 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the start date of the class, except documented medical emergencies.. In the event that the class is forced to canceled, a full refund will be issued.
